Posture Analysis

Based on conversations and written observations I will then move to a physical examination. This will involve me checking your posture for alignment issues and muscular imbalances. Depending on the reason for your appointment this can also include strength tests, as well as range of movement and mobility checks. Posture Analysis is nothing to fear, it is just another way to establish contributing factors to any aches or pains you may feel.

Massage

Massage is all about catering to your needs, working towards releasing the tensions we hold in our everyday lives or focusing more intensely on areas of discomfort. Sports massage is not the same as conventional massage; the knowledge required by the therapist includes an in-depth understanding of the muscular and skeletal systems. The focus is on speeding up recovery times and preventing injuries occurring.

Aftercare

It is possible that you may feel a bit sore or achy after your treatment, this is completely natural. Everyone’s body will experience something slightly different. My role is to equip you with the tools to help your body develop and maintain its resilience. Depending on how your treatment goes I might offer some advice in terms of stretching, mobility or self-massage techniques to take away.
